Classes

Doug Moulden, accomplished local artist, offers Acrylic Painting Classes for all levels of experience.  Class includes short lectures on paint, color, composition, values, textures and art history. No experience necessary. Drop in, Pay as you go and you choose what you want to paint. 

Held at Eastside Artists' Gallery Thursday mornings 9:30 - 12:30.  & Monday evenings, 6pm - 9pm.  $25/class.   Email for more information.

Vicki Clarkson is a watercolor artist from Maryland that tells contemplative visual stories through intuitive washes of pigment and promise. Her classes are ongoing Drop-In Style Watercolor Technique Classes. Spend a couple hours in the art gallery exploring watercolor techniques. Each week she will present a watercolor technique that students will apply to their own unique expressive artwork. Drop in and pay as you go. Lis Zadravec, an internationally recognized and published colored pencil artist, with over 25 years of teaching experience, offers Colored Pencil Classes for all levels.  Class includes demos, critiques and invaluable life experience on being the artist you were meant to be. All classes are recorded to re-watch at your own convenience. Beginners to professionals will all benefit. Take a class or go month-to-month. Learn to draw what you want to draw. 

Held Online, Tuesday evenings 6:00 - 8:00 or Wednesday evenings 5:00 - 7:00pm.  Live ONLINE classes start at $35/class.   Email for more information.

Graham Bush, formally trained in photography at California State University, Sacramento where he received a BA in Communication Studies/Photography will teach the Photographic Composition Workshop.  A 3-hour workshop that consists of a 1-hour classroom discussion of his own composition techniques and insights followed by a 1-hour photography workshop along Carroll Creek.  During the walk along the creek participants will have the opportunity to make images using the techniques discussed and to ask specific questions.  The last hour is spent at the gallery classroom reviewing the photos taken on the creek.  A digital camera or smartphone is required as well as an email account that can send images.
