CIRCLING BACK, PLACES I REMEMBER by Vicki Clarkson
A presentation of watercolors and mixed media that harkens a bit of a nostalgic and a melancholy look back. Vicki’s compositions employ reference to the circular shape as a metaphor of the numerous past moments that we revisit. The color stories are a nod to the muted and ethereal reminiscence of times that are no longer within the physical realm. While not yet fully enveloped in the gray haze of the forgotten, the show is a statement of looking back and allowing what has gone to still step forward for a last glance and embrace.
LAYERS IN RED AND BLACK by Lynn Hotes
Lynn is showing her stunning original prints in red and black. She has been an artist for more than 50 years and works in many mediums, but her original prints are the highlight of this month’s show.
